Solar Panels

Spent a lovely morning in our school garden with the ECO committee creating a 'solar powered den' as part of a competition by Friends of the Earth.

The children made a fabulous den using their Forest Skills, then used knots to create 'panels' out of sticks that they sawed to the correct lengths.

Using old carrier bags we then created sunny pictures to decorate our 'solar panels', before putting them on our den to finish.

Was very cold, but the cups of hot chocolate helped. You never know, we may have a chance of winning - what do you think?
