Borders sunshine

I went to Peebles today to see my friend G and it was great to get out of Edinburgh on such a beautiful day. We went to Broughton for lunch at the Laurel Bank Tea Room and then drove back to Peebles via a tiny hamlet called Callans, where G lived quite a while ago. I took this photo while parked outside the house G lived in, when the sun was still shining on the hill tops with a lovely golden light. It was a cold day with frost on the ground if the sun hadn't got to it and the gritters were out on our return journey.
