Life with Alice

Family

Oh, my. On a lucky day, a long car ride ends us up homehome, and that is what happened today. Not only were my grandmother Thilde, my mother Alva and my sister Nora (the front row) there and greeted me enthusiastically. My half brother Chip, who is chasing me here, had come to stay. He has his equipment intact and was very keen to get to know me. He had to be put on a leash eventually.

Somewhere deep down, I remember that I somehow belong here. With these dogs, in this house, with these people. That this used to be home. It's vague and I can't really put my paw on how I know it. My home is my home now, and my mum definitely my mum. But there is a special bond of invisible threads between us.
