White Faced Heron

This White Faced Heron or Blue Crane walked in front of Matilda Cavoodle and I as we walked along the local streets. Unusual for the Blue Crane to be in a suburban area as they prefer wetlands, dams and pastures. I suppose we are very lucky here as the council have provided extensive parklands.
