Silver Birch

I regularly pass a row of silver birch trees. I always admire them but because it was morning, and a lovely morning at that, the sun was exaggerating their silver gleam. I don't usually see them in the morning light.

I thought I would use a shot of the row but then I really wanted to save that for when there is snow on Blencathra, I've waited 5 years to catch it, a couple of months more won't matter, it could be a snowy winter again.

By the time the end of the day came I felt it necessary to slightly desaturate this mornings very blue sky.
