Thanksgiving!

Every year my family goes to my aunt’s house to celebrate Thanksgiving. My aunt and I are neighbors so sometimes we alternate who has Thanksgiving at their house. Usually my aunt has it at her house because my mom stresses out when she has to make a meal for people. We contribute some money towards the turkey and other ingredients. We had turkey and gravy, sweet potatoes, filling, green beans, corn casserole, bread, ham, and mashed potatoes. Every year my dad makes the mashed potatoes and a peanut butter pie. After we were done eating I could barely move because I was so full. After we ate, my cousin, Jen and I did the dishes. My mom and my aunt came to help us put the leftovers away. There was so much left over that everyone was able to have one, even maybe two more Thanksgiving meals. For the rest of the day we just sat in the living room, digesting and watching football. The next morning I got up at six to go Black Friday shopping. This was only the second time I have been Black Friday shopping. It gets too crowded and I don’t like waiting in all the long lines. By the time we got home, I was exhausted. I’d say overall my Thanksgiving break was good, and now I can’t wait for Christmas break.
