All that's left.....

I have been walking Banjo in a few different places lately, and one area is along the river in Avonside.

This is a suburb that had alot of streets and homes damaged in the EQs and were Red Zoned by the Government , which meant that the occupiers were paid out $ and insurance and moved on to other places. The homes are pretty much all demolished now, the streets starting to get overgrown and the vacant land looking very sad.
Nothing will be rebuilt here as the land is now too unstable .
Very strange walking around here as it sort of echoes of a past life.....this letterbox is still standing but obviously not in use now.
