The Taller Worm

A semi-worm's-eye view of yet more crocuses, but still one that produced muddy trouser knees.

I don't want to let it seem that I am obsessed by crocuses, but these were so bright and extensive, and the season is so short, that I felt the opportunity should not slip by.

I hope that I am forgiven for continuing the crocus theme. All the pictures were taken on the morning of Saturday 13 March, in a local park.

Two weeks from today it will be Summer Time, if not summertime. Maybe by then there will be the sort of flowers that provoke tears by hasting away too soon.
