This is not an emergency blip - something I have been specialising in of late but it could be described as a "desperation blip" perhaps. You see I bought this nice diffuse LED portrait lamp but there was no one around to try it OUT on. You follow me so far? Aaaanyway I figured maybe I'd better try it out on myself ... as one does. I couldn't use the E-M5 with 45mm f1.8 because the screen can't swing completely around for me to catch a glimpse of the iconic international male supermodel features. It had to be the G12 in macro mode at full wide angle - handheld by the model. Right?

Umm. Actually it could have been worse ...... I don't normally look this good!!
