Balinese Villa Guardians

Day no 1 in Bali. It's the rainy season here, and it has been raining steadily all day. But it is warm rain and the temperature is not dropping below 26 C. Of course it does mean there's much less chance of seeing one of the marvellous Tanah Lot sunsets, but one can't have everything. Husband is feeling a bit under the weather, so we' ve been having a very relaxed day at home in our little villa for two, totally enclosed bedroom and covered outdoor living terrace with tiny plunge pool. These are the two guardian statues protecting the premises with a view to the terrace (called a baleh)
