One of the things I find strange here in Iceland, is that people have garages but don't park their cars in it. If this was a country with mild temperatures, I would understand it better, but if you have a garage, and there is a snow storm, won't it make sense to park it inside?! Then you don't have to spend time scraping off the snow the next morning, and running the engine to heat it up. But I am seemingly one of the few people here who thinks like that, while walking this morning I noticed that out of 20 houses with garages (some double!), only 1 did not have cars outside.
