Playing about
Ive been in the studio this morning taking still life photos of the Lewis chess pieces. I was working alone and found out how valuable it is to have an assistant..balancing bounce boards with my foot while trying to move the pieces around, taking light meter readings and adjusting the light settings...four hands and two brains would have been useful. Still, I enjoyed playing with different lighting setups, and after an initial hiccup when the transmitter wouldn't work, I stayed on in the lunch hour to do a bit more. This last photo was taken with low key lighting and a macro lens.
