Making the cake!

I decided to make my Christmas cake this afternoon. I say 'my' cake as the rest of the family are not keen on fruit cake. That means I will have to bake something else for them. Not that I am complaining.

On a wildlife note, today has seen the return of the pretty long-tailed tits. Only four, but it's a start.
