Windy Cape Town

We had our last breakie in Franschhoek and left early to drop into Cheetah Outreach on our way to Cape Town - a charity set up to save cheetahs from farmers. We checked into our lush apartment on the V&A (much larger than both of our Balham flats!) and decided to head out in the car to Boulders Beach because the gale force winds prevented us going up table mountain/lions head.
After a wander between Seaforth Beach and Boulders Beach, some rock climbing to get closer to the penguins and some lunch, we headed back to our apartment via Noordhoek Beach, Houts Bay and Camps Bay - a pretty spectacular drive.
When we were back, we set off straight into the V&A Waterfront for a wander around, where we stumbled across the craft market and bought our first souvenir. Dinner at Bombay Brasserie (5 course tasting menu with wine pairings for £40) finished off a busy day!
