This is the house I was born into. I was so delighted to pass nearby on a UCAS tour with B.

I lived here, in Southampton, next to the university where my father lectured. We moved abroad when I was just 2, moved back to this house for 10 months when I was 6, and then back again when I was 10.

I wonder if the liver I slipped between the floorboards is still there. I hate liver.

I loved the aga but didn't like fetching the coal from outside.

My big brother was my best friend in the world. His room at the front on the right was my favourite place.
