Holidays are coming.

Coca Cola run their "Holidays are coming" truck, which they use in their adverts, on a tour round the UK in the run up to Christmas. Penrith was on the itinerary for yesterday with the centre of the town closed from 12.00 until 8.00. Well they said it would be until eight but things were still going strong when we left a few minutes before eight.

If we hadn't been going into town for our usual meet up with my Brother and Sister-in-law we probably wouldnn't have bother but it offered good blip 0pportunities. As well as the truck and a quartet of dark skinned Santas singing and playing there were food stalls, rides for the kids etc.

Naturally most people were gathered round the front of the truck where you could pose to have your photo taken and then download from social media. Then inmfront of the truck were the local food stalls rides etc. So I opted for a little more space to shoot in by going to the back of the truck. So this is the view down Penrith main street looking towards the activities going on round "the clock". That is the brightly lit "tower" in the middle of the shot.
