Tian Tan Buddha

Took the MTR over to Lantau Island today, then the amazing cable car up to Po Lin Monastery to see the Tian Tan Buddha. Reputedly the world's tallest, seated bronze Buddha. He is enormous. After I took this picture the clouds descended and hid him in the heavens. The Po Lin Monastery was spectacular too, it was difficult to choose a blip.

This evening I went down to the Cultural Centre to see the light show, amazing to see the buildings lighting up and the lasers, but I've blipped the harbour before!
