Evening Mists

I managed to miss the best part of late afternoon as I had gone out without any means of taking a photo which is just typical of me of late. There were the most beautiful thermal inversions creeping up every little hollow and the sky was as if split open in a yellow gash then everything morphed into one. This is the scene 10 minutes later. I am afraid that will have to do as I am going to light a fire and slump in front of it all night now with the occasional glance at the TV guide.
