The Tree Festival.

Went and did my tree sitting duty today. There were two other church ladies there as well, serving coffee and teas. It was £2 if you wanted to judge the trees , which i did, with all the money going to charity. Kevin asked me if i would go tomorrow as well, because he couldn't get anyone else to do it. What could i say ? There were 50 trees on display, and four categories. One tree was particularly poignant. It was done by victims of abuse, and some of the messages were quite harrowing. We had children from a local school arrive, and when they first walked in, they were very quiet. A few minutes later it was mayhem. I finished at 2 o'clock, and we went to Sainsburys to do a food shop. Fish and chips tonight, washed down with a pot of tea.
