A Bit of a Carry On

Well we got "here" eventually but with very little thanks to Barclays and a bunch of no hope solicitors. In short we were in a chain of three and the first solicitor send his money to our buyers solicitor at 10:30. At 12:30 when it hadn't appeared into their account our buyers couldn't contact the first solicitor. But at 1pm they all went off to lunch! So by 2pm with a lot of badgering the first solicitor eventually got of his backside and started to chance the money. That's went it be apparent that Barclays were having a bad day.

So to cut a long story short we were all packed up ready to go at 12:00 and we eventually got the keys at 3:45. At 5pm we had a gang of 10 chaps unloading the removals van! The end result is that there is a bedroom full to the gunwales with cupboards and boxes.
