Fairytale Fungi

I found these big fungi in the woods today. I think they may be butter caps but I am not certain. They were big - may be 20cm or more across at the cap and 20cm tall. They were the kind of fungi you see depicted in fairytales with the small animals of the woods gathered around using as tables to eat from! Rather a grey damp drizzly day all day.
