A Peep Thru the Pinhole

"Weavers' Wharf"

This is a small part of Kidderminster's industrial heritage. The principal industry here, in former years, was carpet manufacture. The raw goods were delivered by barge via the canal, part of which you see in this image. Nowadays Weavers' Wharf forms just one side of a rectangle, which borders a car parking area, the other three sides of which are various retail outlets. The venue at the base of the tower here is Frankie and Benny's, a pseudo-Italian eating house chain that is quite ubiquitous in the UK.
