Wrightington Lake
After getting hubby to his ward and being told he would be a "day" case, I took the dog for a walk to Wrightington Lake. It was a very frosty morning and Lakeside house looked lovely.
After numerous cups of tea in the League of friends lovely friendly refreshments area and frequent phone calls from hubby, he eventually got to theatre about 3pm.
As he was later going for his op they decided he would have to stay overnight, they put him into the Private Charnley wing of the hospital for the night which was very comfortable with first class service. The hospital reception said I could stay on the car park with the campa instead of going back to the campsite which meant I didn't have to get up so early to ensure a car parking space. I slept quite well, not having to worry about parking spaces or driving with the early commuters in the morning.
