Old Moss
A quiet day writing bills, paying bills and catching up on paperwork. It was very grey and dull outside today so no pictures especially as I forgot my camera when I was actually outside. Saw a male hen harrier hunting on our hill whilst out with the dogs this morning. They are rarer here these days so its always nice to see and always feel its a complement that they are able to find food on our farm.
This emergency blip is a picture of old Moss he is fully retired although rather reluctantly on both our parts. He is completely deaf which came on a little too early in his life and is now suffering from arthritis in his wrists and shoulder. He is definitely deaf and not using collie selective hearing!! He has a series of hand signals to tell him what to do but when he feels very naughty he just wont look at you so you cant signal him!!
