Making room for Santa

Mum, there's a man in our chimney...

Part of the Great Heating Plans is the addition of a couple of wood burning stoves. A little daft being surrounded by piles of firewood and only dreadfully inefficient (but spiritually warming) open fires to put it on.

Although our diary and our conscious minds knew these guys were coming today our practical minds had forgotten so I was swiftly clearing the rooms while E cooked breakfast.

We've observed our fair share of workmen over the last few months. These guys definitely go down as hard workers. Must have been a 10 hour day without much in the way of breaks - and the same tomorrow.
