Fat balls

Mothering Sunday saw us taking our respective mums out to the garden centre for a bite to eat and a daunder. After discussing one or both of them moving into a granny flat with us (we both keep telling them this AIN'T gonna happen) we ended up looking at bird feeding stations for the m-in-law.

I thought it would be a good idea to get one for our garden. So we did and then had to get the fat balls (pictured), peanuts and seed. Looked at the dried mealworms but at that price I'll be digging up live worms and using them.

Then TBH piped up "You'll be able to get some good pics from this." She looked at my face an realised that was the only reason I decided to get the Deluxe Feeding Station. :-D So expect some bird pics soon.

Got home and assembled, placed and equiped the said feeding station but by then the birdies had gone to sleep so the only picture is my well hung but as yet untouched fat balls.
