We had a productive afternoon involving paint making gifts for grandparents/aunties/uncles etc. Isaac wasn't entirely cooperative but chocolate helped...

Whilst I added the final touches Isaac cleaned up played in the sink for 40 minutes.

Amelie did hers when she came in and was even less cooperative! We got there though and they are all done.

It didn't leave a lot of time to make dinner, so I was a bit behind schedule. Meanwhile the monsters children were taking baubles off the tree...TWO were broken tonight! Agh! One was Amelie's baby one, so I was rather sad about that (and so was she) The other is replaceable but I wasn't impressed.

I feel like we had such a busy weekend we have been constantly trying to catch up with ourselves. We've got stuff on this weekend but thankfully time to rest too.

After the kids were in bed I set up the ironing board and went to start my ironing. Watchdog was on in the background and then I saw my iron on the screen....it's been recalled! Couldn't make it up!
