A semi hysterical wander through Brooklyn eventually led to the unlikely named Gorbals restaurant and Israeli/Scots fusion. Demonstration marches later caused delays for some and meant that the 80s soundtrack at The Mondrian was mixed with the sound of Police helicopters overhead.
