On a Hot Tin Roof
Well, slate, and lead, and not very hot anyway (many many layers).
This is the view of the gardens at Dyffryn, from, well, above the roof. About 25m above ground level on a cherry picker. It was a gorgeously sunny day, which is why, typically, we found ourselves around the shaded side of the house....
In other news, I went back to Ikea, and in a miraculous twelve minute visit picked up the door fittings I needed (at first thinking they were out of stock..) and a couple of other things.
In car news - it has a working alarm! I found this out whilst sat inside it in the Ikea car park and must've accidentally pressed the panic button or something. It's loud.
