Happy Mothers' Day

A day for reflection.

Firstly it was a day when I woke up without my children. I was in a hotel on a course and they were at home with Daddy. I completed my course (which I needed to be on & enjoyed but if I'd have realised it was over Mothering Sunday I'd have postponed). I was home at 4.30pm. Got home to flowers, homemade presents, 8 cards (7 homemade) ,make up, all the beds changed, house spotless plus hoovered, all the ironing done plus a roast dinner with bubbly. Very happy but it did make me wonder what the children had done while I was away! Mr KC did say Pink Twin can now use the hoover!!

So the reflection was thinking about me not being with my children, thinking about mums who had babies (they are always our babies however old) no longer with us, people unable to conceive and those like me whose Mums are no longer alive......

Ah just looked at my Blip & realised I've Blipped two pinks and a blue...times two.... just like my family....
