Flat Kumihimo Braid

Weather damp and grey for most of the day.

I strained the Sloe Gin made last month and previous month and was loath to just throw the berries into the compost so I made a few pots of Apple & Sloe Gin Jam, using some of my store of Bramley Apples, which are not storing very well. Jam smells delicious, we'll see how it tastes when the flavours have matured a bit.

Have finally mastered the square kumihimo board and made some nice braid which will be a gift for one of my pals!

Was supposed to deliver a commissioned necklace to a customer in Benllech this afternoon but she phoned to postpone until Monday morning.

Spoke briefly with the Sailor on his return from Ningbo ...
