We've all got really very excited about the idea of casting worktops for a project we're working on. It's all too easy to find one of us reading a blog or watching a clip on Youtube showing somebody casting worktops, holding up dollops of cement with a rather manic gleam in their eyes.

And this is a sample of one of the mixes before it's been polished. We're experimenting with the amount of aggregate, the colour of the concrete and the colour of the sealer.
