Part work

When we moved in, we had made the house (just) liveable. This bathroom has barely moved forward since, until a month ago when Mr B installed a new ceiling. I have varnished the ceiling (twice) and now have to coat every other surface. Half the woodwork is done (some with the wrong colour as the light was a bit dim - let's just call it undercoat) and tomorrow we may finally decide on floor paint.

TallGirl had no school today, and I think I finally qualified as a passable parent by remembering to not wake her up, and CarbBoy only had school this morning. (All the teachers were having a day thinking about stuff). Then pizza making for CarbBoy and pal, before packing them off down the road to see a pal who sprained his toe at taekwondo battling... a mat.

Then Mr B made roast chicken and now we're watching all the Modern Family in the world, even though we promised the kids we wouldn't.
