Meeting Michael

This is a copy of a Bradshaw's guidebook, written in Victorian times by George Bradshaw. It has been epitomised in recent years by former MP Michael Portillo who now presents Great British Railway Journeys using the guide to show how things have changed since the book was originally written.
Tonight we went to see Michael live at a local theatre in East Grinstead where he entertained us with the story of his life in politics where he worked with Margaret Thatcher through to his new career as a TV presenter. In my opinion he is first class (excuse the pun!) and the evening was excellent.
The good news is that he is filming even more series of Great railway Journeys but the even better news is that he is also to film Great USA Railway Journeys next year. Watch out, the Brits are coming!
