Where is this in Edinburgh?

Many years so for a quiz I took pictures of unique signs or close ups of well known buildings to see if people could recall where they were.

Today, on leaving a meeting of the Scottish Tribunal Forum in Parliament House, I looked up and saw this glinting in the brilliant winter sunshine.

I confess I'd never noticed it before but this is what is on the top of St Giles Cathedral.

I also spotted that they are now doing tours of the roof of St Giles which will no doubt provide some interesting perspectives on the Royal Mile. I'll have to leave that for a non-working day!
