Juice with Joke

Joke (pronounced Yoka) called around with juicer and fruit and whipped up this most delicious nutritious beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger juice. We enjoyed our juice in the sunshine on the deck while catching up with news.

I had a phone message at the end of the day from Tracey (Cancer Liason Nurse). She said I should be able to start the cancer drugs we are waiting for by the end of next week. Bernie (Oncologist) is hopeful he will have the number from the drug company in USA by then. This is a week after we were expecting to start these, and it really feels like time is of the essence but good to hear something definite.
