That kind of day

Wet and grey today. This mulberry tree is not the only one with water dripping off it.

No 3 daughter is visiting for the weekend, so she and Mrs G went shopping this morning. That left me free to catch up on a lot of little tasks. I seemed to be very productive, just moving from one task to the next in an unplanned sequence. It is a satisfying way to get through an unwritten to do list.

We will be getting a Christmas tree today, having failed to find a suitable candidate on our property. Perhaps we should have a mini Christmas tree plantation for future years?
