Shepshed Community Nativity

Thanks to two Shepshed stalwarts, Elaine and David Stevenson, the Shepshed community came together tonight to present a nativity play featuring some well known Shepshed names and both the Serenade Ladies' Choir and Chera Voce.

A full house at St Botolph's. No charge to get in but there was a retiring collection.

Basil came too and sat in the front row with me. There must have been a draught under the chair because about two thirds through, he was shivering and became restive and I had to put him on my knee where he was able to look round at everyone, making his usual Aww impact. Other than that, he was perfectly behaved.
