the storms continue for another day. Blowing in around dinner time, staying just long enough to semi-flood the back yard & make me consider sowing a rice field in place of the veggie patch....which is looking somewhat like a soup pot.

Lighting strikes above our head - but alas the iPhone lacks the capacity to capture it. Leaving this image as the best i could do (through the comfort of the kitchen window)...i doubt the quality would be any better outside - not that I'm willing to try. Does anyone with an android get anything better?nOr was it that the strikes were too close hence the distortion?

Anyway, according to the almanac records we had 54mm of rain yesterday. Thats ¾ of the monthly average on day 2.
