Bah humbug......

......so I made the mistake of wearing a pair of trainers that had shrunk-a-bit in the wash (either that or my feet have grown or, horror of horrors, spread....y'know,in a geriatric fashion) for a shopping trip to the Christmas market in Whitley Bay, the result of which is a skinned heel and a slow hobble home with 4 bags of (getting-heavier-by-the-minute) shopping.....AND, to add insult to injury, I'd got there too early for the roasted chestnut man to have warmed his nuts.....OK, cancel Christmas......

EDIT:: I've watched 'Miracle on 34th Street' and I'm half-way through 'Holiday Inn' and I'm feeling a bit more receptive to the festive.........not much, but a bit;-)
