Silent night

D was snoozing by the fire, little A flat out after panto with the Brownies and shanty and I went for a moonlit walk. It was so very beautiful, more than a bit mystical. Mountains covered in snow, stars bright, cows like statues in the fields and trees casting shadows around. Took my breath away not to mention an incredibly cold nose.
