Would my head fall off

If I stopped taking all my prescription medicines. It is that time of year to get my prescription in before Xmas to ensure I do not run out and I always wonder what would happen if I stopped taking them.

Would my head fall of or would I contract some evil plague. Well one day I may well try it as at the moment I rattle like a tin with a single sweet left inside.
