Waltham Cross

A day to catch up at home -get out the Christmas decorations , write cards , sort out recycling , send off stuff for the Christmas fayre , pop up the Cross for some shopping .
The blip is of Waltham Cross which is one of the Eleanor Crosses
King Edward I had the crosses erected between 1291 and 1294 in memory of his wife Eleanor of Castile, marking the nightly resting-places along the route taken when her body was transported to London
