Finally A Bird

I have spent three days, trying to capture
this downy woodpecker. I finally did;
But the cat nearly jumped out the window
in the process.!

This, the downy woodpecker is the smallest
of our woodpeckers and its red on its
head signals that it is a male. I discovered
that these woodpeckers have a hairy cheek
whiskers too. Nice little bird, I am thinking.......
