Birthday Pie

So it would seem there are some similarities between the UK and Kazakhstan! If it is your birthday, you buy pies for everyone in the office! The only difference is that here, they get a few MASSIVE pies that we cut up and dish out.

It is a really nice occasion, everyone in the office sits together (not just the girls, or the sales people, or the engineers), so it was nice to be involved in my first Kazakh ritual...I am fully expecting to try and do stuff with the locals here - hopefully they will take me under their wings :)
