Santa's Little Helpers
Today was the Stratford Santa Fun Run in aid of a local charity. I went over there with Technophobe and LooseCanon in order to cheer on Jane. I couldn't run as obviously someone had to take charge of Peter, so I acted "in loco Technophobe" in order to keep him out of mischief.
The weather was fabulous - for the spectators at any rate. It was glorious sunshine, although the going was hard as they say in race-talk I believe. This was because there had been quite a frost last night, and where the sun hadn't shone (on the paths!!) it was still pretty slippery and icy.
Technophobe did us proud and came in still smiling and still with all her suit almost intact, and wearing her beard. Her Santa beard that is - she doesn't normally sport facial hair. She mentions that she out-ran a Yorkshire terrier in her Blip - this is the said little dog - having the time of his life skipping along there through the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Gardens.. We did wonder whether the dogs actually noticed that all the running humans were dressed in identical suits.
