Tribute

Yesterday we lost my good neighbour Ken akaakadamia to the hideous disease that is pancreatic cancer. He bravely fought it from the day of diagnosis in October 2013 and documented his fight via Blipfoto. It is he who introduced me to Blip and for that alone I shall be very grateful, let alone for the other kindnesses along the way. Duck races, PA systems, green screens, mahoosive wigs, movie madness...silly memories of a lovely gentle man who has been snatched too soon.

To lose two next door neighbours in as many weeks, there is a pall of sadness over our little hamlet.
