Finally got to meet Andy Scott today after years of admiring his work.

Lovely to have a good chat with him about his work and the design process. It was interesting to discover that only approximately 20% of sculpture proposals come to fruition.

He very kindly agreed to me taking his photo with my signed copy of his new book 'The Kelpies: Making the World's Largest Equine Sculptures' and I'm really looking forward to reading it.
