Ledded Lights

Having worked out the that the light in the guest lounge is using more electricity than a small electric heater I took the plunge and purchased some LED bulbs at moderately obscene prices. The process of picking the right bulb is only slightly less complex than picking insurance.

I eventually found one site that contained meaningful data; and no 'hidden prices'.

As an experiment I tried a few in the fitting. This shot is of a mixture of eight 60w conventional bulbs and two 5w LED bulbs.

Spot the difference?

Yes, but it's not exactly obvious. I'm pleasantly surprised.
