Holiday Spirit

This welcoming smile and those twinkling eyes belong S, who volunteers at the Information Booth at our farmers' market, answering all kinds of questions from market goers, buskers, and others.

I loved her holiday-themed attire today, especially the sparkly brooch on her winter-white hat. S asked me to take some photos for her Christmas cards, and I was delighted to oblige.

This afternoon we're going to the Bellingham Chamber Chorale's holiday concert, which features Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols and Conrad Susa's Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest. We're looking forward to sitting back and letting the music fill us!

And speaking of filling us, we're going to La Fiamma for the best pizza--and salads--in town after the concert.
